20 Plus Size Bloggers and Influencers to Follow for Lingerie Inspiration
Around this time of year, you may be searching for a new lingerie set to add to your collection. For plus size folks, online shopping offers far more options than brick and mortar stores. However, shopping online means relying on measurements and product photos rather than trusting your own dressing room experience when deciding to buy.
Although some indie brands showcase a diverse range of models on their sites, most plus size lingerie product photos are still shown on full-busted models, size 16 and under, with hourglass shapes. This is where plus size bloggers and influencers really make an impact on the purchasing process.
When asked why I do lingerie reviews my response is always the same: I review lingerie so other people who look like me will know how these styles fit on their bodies. I think imagery is powerful. Seeing someone with a body like yours helps you envision yourself in something similar. It would certainly be nice to see these images on a brand’s own website, but until that happens more universally, bloggers can help fill the gap.
When looking for inspiration, fit advice, or tips on where to shop for plus size lingerie, Instagram can be a great resource. While not all influencers offer detailed lingerie reviews on blogs, many of them are willing to answer questions about fit and fabrics in the comments.
To create this list, I included a few of my faves as well as took suggestions from social media. This is just a sampling of the many plus size bloggers and influencers who you can help you find the perfect style for you!
