I don't know about you, but a lot of the news - both in America and abroad - has me feeling depressed. Every day, every hour even, there's a new headline even more shocking than the last. It's hard not to feel like you're trapped in some kind of bizarre reality where the only news is bad news.
It's at times like these that the transportative power of lingerie is most profound - and most relevant. Being able to drift away, if only for a few minutes, to relax and immerse yourself in something beautiful...that's the kind of recess we all need. Almost like a brief intermission from the daily grind of life.
Dottie's Delights latest collection - named "Cascade" and inspired by Billie Holliday, Biba, and Diana Ross - is a breath of fresh air in a world that can feel almost claustrophobic with anguish. Featuring lush fabrics, unexpected prints, and Dottie's Delights trademark retro silhouettes, I can feel myself being carried away on a wave of silk charmeuse and French Chantilly lace.
This is lingerie for lazy autumn strolls, fireside hot chocolate, and Christmas morning services. It's lingerie to remind you of what's good and beautiful in the world. And I adore it all.
