The Togfather x The Lingerie Addict: A Lingerie Renaissance
Usually, when I write about one of my editorials, I give a fairly lengthy explanation about the context and the background and the inspiration behind the shoot.
But this time? This time, I'm keeping things short and sweet because this photographer honestly needs no introduction. If you've spent any time at all lately on lingerie Instagram, you've likely already seen The Togfather's work.
Evocative of the Renaissance and famous for its painterly tones, The Togfather is one of the most popular fashion art photographers on IG right now, and rightfully so. His lingerie photos in particular prove, for any lingering doubters, that lingerie can be high art.
Generally, at this point, I also give a brief review the photographer. Here it is. The Togfather is amazing. He's brilliant and professional and kind and encouraging and has boundless creative energy. Shooting with him is one of the highlights of my career.
Thank you to all the designers who loaned pieces and created pieces just for this shoot. I appreciate you being a part of making something so special possible. As with all my editorials, I’ve styled myself, and all brand credits are given below. And, of course, it goes without saying that all photos are by The Togfather.
I’m just...I'm so impossibly happy with how these photos turned out. I hope you enjoy them too. This might be my most favorite photoshoot yet.
