Bras in 40+ bands are a terribly underserved part of the lingerie market, but like many areas of lingerie, the industry is slowly catching up with customer demand. Today I'm showcasing 10 brands making great plus size lingerie in 40+ bands. These brands include both North American and British brands, but all are easily available to the US customer. All photos have the listed size range of the bra as well as which size system it uses, but in general the featured pieces of lingerie range from 34A to 50N.

Curvy Couture:
Curvy Couture makes beautiful bras in both basic and fashion models. Their neutral bras are extremely popular, but their floral and animal print offerings shouldn't be overlooked either!

Hips and Curves:
Hips and Curves is a giant in the plus size lingerie market for a good reason. Their pieces are fashionable, trendy, affordable and comfortable. Whether you're looking for a sexy Halloween costume or a great basic bra, you can't go wrong with their offerings.

Elomi:
Elomi is a staple of the plus size lingerie world with a serious following. In fact, I know many women who will only wear Elomi bras! Simply Be:
Simply Be has lots of great things going for it. Prices are reasonable for basic bras in a nice range of sizes, but the real star is their new intimates line by Anna Scholz. It has great prints, supportive silhouettes, and matches well with her shapewear.

Evans:
Evans is another British retailer that has hopped over the pond and now has a US presence. They carry lots of bras from other brands on this list, but also have their own line that is fashion forward and easy on your wallet. They frequently have great sales as well.

Hanky Panky:
Hanky Panky makes great basics and has rapidly expanded their plus size line. While it used to only have thongs, it now contains everything from bridal pieces to slips and lace bike shorts.
