Gossard Lingerie has gone from being a has-been label ("Oh, they used to make good lingerie, yeah?") to being a brand most everyone is familiar with... if not outright talking about. The brand Gossard has been around since 1901; their parent company, Courtald's (which also owns Aristoc, Pretty Polly, and Berlei) has been around since the 1700s.
Despite being Britain's largest lingerie producer (a position that often leads to creative stagnation, instead of growth), Gossard has managed to remain fresh and exciting by offering modern lingerie solutions (like the Glossies range) alongside classic silhouettes from their archives (like the Retrolution collection). Their Spring/Summer 2014 range offers a number of on-trend brights and florals while also expanding their bridal collection to include vintage-inspired Retrolution pieces. My favorite look though, is the one above. Something about gold embroidery on black mesh just seems perfect to me.
Gossard bras are available in sizes 28A through 44E (with some bras available up to 38G cups). Knickers are available in sizes XS thru XXXL.
Is Gossard a brand you'd give a try? And if so, what's your favorite look from next season?
