If you’ve been visiting my blog for the past few months, you’ve likely noticed many new things. From the domain to the design to the advertising, I’ve made quite a few adjustments recently. Lots of people have written via e-mail to tell me what they think of these changes, so many in fact, that I felt compelled to address their questions in a response available to everyone.
If there was ever a Photo Friday that’s long overdue, it’s this week’s edition featuring Crystal Renn. Crystal Renn is an American high-fashion model who is world-renowned for being one of the few mainstream, “plus-sized” models in the industry. She’s been featured everywhere from Vogue magazine editorials to Jean Paul Gaultier runways, and her career shows no signs of slowing down.
I love Ms. Renn because she embraces her curves in a world that says you’re not attractive unless you’re a size 6. Why don’t you tell me what you think of Crystal in the comments below?

I’m tired of all the winter weather and the too-short days. Another Lingerie Addict giveaway has come and gone, and I want to thank everyone for their entries. It’s been a delight to read your most romantic moments for the past week, and I sincerely hope that a few of you (at least!) were surprised by lovely pretties from Pandora’s Choice this Valentine’s Day.
That said, I think I’m going to change how giveaways are done on The Addict in the future. While I love all the new traffic giveaways bring to my blog (and the sponsors definitely love it) I feel like opening up every giveaway to the internet at large kind of misses the point…to reward my regular readers, followers, and subscribers.
The Boyfriend and I had a fantastic Valentine’s weekend! On Friday, we went out to dinner to celebrate my appearances on WiseBread and The Consumerist (he’s amazingly supportive of my lingerie blog). Then on Saturday, we started Valentine’s Day a bit early and went out for tapas at a local wine bar followed by a burlesque show put on by the delightful performers at Columbia City Cabaret. He doesn’t read my blog, so I feel okay saying this here…but I really, really like him. Like, a lot.
